All on 4. Implant Supported Upper Fixed Full Denture.*
The following are excerpts from our Medical and Dental History form and this patient's original answers. How do you feel about the appearance of your teeth? I don’t like the way they look. I don’t want to have dentures anymore. It’s very uncomfortable to have dentures. If you could change your smile, how would you change it? I would have shorter teeth and wish they would be non removable, like it used to be. I want my face to stop changing. It has happened since I got dentures. Do you have any dental concerns? If yes, please explain. I would love to feel the roof of my mouth when I eat. I want to have implants so to feel like they’re my own teeth. These are common complaints from removable denture wearers. The main one is the inability to feel the palate as a full complete denture needs to cover it in order to obtain retention. This patient came to us from New York for a consultation. During the consultation we found out that she did not have enough posterior bone to place conventional implants. We ended up placing two zygoma dental implants for the posterior area and two conventional dental implants for the anterior. Thanks to the thorough pre-planning and digital design done prior to surgery day we were able to place the implants and deliver her new fixed restoration the day after.More
